PM Anwar: Malaysia’s economy stable despite 0.2pc foreign shareholding dip

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim affirmed that Malaysia’s economy is stable despite the 0.2 per cent reduction of foreign shareholding on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in Malaysia.

He said that the dip that occurred after US President Donald Trump took office last month does not represent all of the investors’ confidence as Thailand and Indonesia also suffered losses.
